If you are a lover of tennis and happen to be in Coachella Valley during March, one event that you simply cannot afford to miss is BNP Paribas Open 2017. This tennis tournament attracts the top international talent and you can expect entertaining and grueling tennis matches between champion tennis players like Roger Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, Andy Murray, Kerber, Serena Williams, and so on.

BNP Paribas Open will be, like always, a two week long event and it will be held in the desert city of Indian Wells in southern California. The tournament carries massive prize money of $14 million. Interestingly, it will be the 42nd edition for the men’s event while it will be 19th edition for ladies event. Roger Federer returns this year after missing out on last year’s event. Andy Murray has been given the top seed in the men’s section while it is Serena Williams who has received the top seeding for the ladies event. You not only get a chance to see all these great players in action but also mingle with a tennis loving crowd that will be there to enjoy one of the most popular tennis tournaments of the ATP circuit.

Do not worry about parking

Whether you are a local coming to watch tennis matches from your home or a visitor staying at a hotel in or near Indian Wells, you need not worry about your parking needs. There is enough space for hundreds of vehicles at General car parking facility where you can park your car for the session by paying the parking fee of $20. You can get privileged car parking called Audi parking if you are an owner of an Audi car. To avail this facility, you can choose the session you want to attend and download and print the parking ticket. There is also separate parking facility for the disabled.  If you are coming to watch tennis matches on your bike, there is a rack for bikes on North, South, and East gate entrances. There are also valet parking, VIP self parking, and daily parking passes available to the patrons.

BNP Paribas Open Kids Day

Well, BNP Paribas Open is certainly about tennis stars and their matches but this 2 week long event is certainly not all about tennis alone. There will be an afternoon reserved for fun and frolic for kids. This is called BNP Paribas Open Kids Day and on this day, entry is free for general public. You are invited to bring your kids along with you to give them a chance to indulge in total fund on and off the courts. There will be music, wildlife of the desert on wheels, tennis clinics, and much more to make the kids and their families happy.

BNP Paribas Challenge

Do you know that you can get a chance to play alongside top international tennis stars at BNP Paribas Open if you have talent and think you can beat other challengers at a qualifying tournament? Called BNP Paribas Challenge, this tournament gives you a chance to prove your mettle. It will be organized form 27 Feb till March 4 and the winners in men’s and ladies categories will advance to play in the main draw of BNP Paribas Open 2017.
