1. BNP Paribas Open - March 6th - 19th

If you love to play and watch tennis, this is one event in March that you wouldn’t want to miss. Also called Indian Wells Masters, this international tennis tournament is organized annually in Indian Wells. You can expect world class tennis action and also get a chance to see international tennis stars if you attend the event in March. The winner of men’s singles title at BNP Paribas Open for the last three years has been Novak Djokovich. You can easily see the likes of Roger Federer, Djokovich, Nadal, Serena Williams, Milos Raonic and many others on the court throughout the event.

2. El Paseo Fashion Week - March 18th - 25th

If you consider yourself fashionable or have interest in fashion, El Paseo Fashion Week welcomes you with open arms. This chic event is held every year in March in Palm Desert. This year, this fashion event will be held from March 19th-25th and it will showcase the talent of some of the best designers from not just across the country but also from other parts of the world. Everything from apparels, fashion accessories, footwear, and designer products will be on display while you also get to see super models walking on the ramp during the shows. If Paris seems to too far away and New York is too crowded, this fashion week organized in the luxurious El Paseo shopping district of Palm Desert is just what the doctor ordered.

3. La Quinta Arts Festival - March 2nd -5th

If you are a lover of art and artifacts, you will have a wonderful time at the nationally renowned La Quinta Arts Festival taking place in Old Town La Quinta. It is a very vibrant event that is also highly interactive in nature to keep you engaged for a long time period. This art festival showcases the talent of some of the most promising as well as established artists around the country. It will be held from 2-5 March at La Quinta Civic Center in Coachella Valley. Photography, painting, sculpture, jewelry, and ceramics are some of the mediums in which artists will showcase their talent.

4. LPGA ANA Inspiration - March 27th - April 2nd

ANA Inspiration is a major women’s golf tournament that is a part of the 5 major championships organized by LPGA. It is held every year in March at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage. It is a great event to watch if you happen to a lover of women’s golf. This 2.7 million dollar prize money golf tournament will be held from March 27th until April 4th this year. Lydia Ko of New Zealand won the title last year.

5. The Dinah - March 29th - April 2nd

It is a very popular dance and music event that is organized every year in the month of March in Palm Springs, Coachella Valley. Its official name is Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend and it mainly caters to the lesbian members of the community. There are live concerts, pool parties, and many other entertainment activities for the guests. It attracts girls from Australia, Japan, UK, China, South Africa, Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, and many other countries.

6. Garden’s 19th Annual Concert Series - March 4th - 18th

This is a series of live concerts held in the Center Lawns of Gardens in El Paseo in Palm Desert in Coachella Valley every year. It will be the 19th edition of concert series this year and conclude on 18 March. During this 8 week concert series, live concerts are held on every Saturday evening. Tickets priced at $15 get two glasses of wine and some light bites. The money goes to local charities.

7. Sunday Polo - March 12th,19th & 26th

If you love polo, do not miss the action during Sunday Polo where matches are played on every Sunday from January till April. The games are organized by Empire Polo Club and open to the public. Admission is free though there is a $20 car parking fee for the guests. Bring along your beach umbrellas and chairs to have maximum fun watching polo in action. Ticket for VIP seating area are available at $25 per person.
